I had the opportunity to create and co-design with San Francisco's Phoenix Day Lighting and Los Angeles based design house Studio-collective. It was a challenging project and my first time working in a large scale with fiber techniques such as knotting and netting for a commercial project. It was excellent opportunity to problem solve and collaborate with other designers. We had to create a structurally sound net that could disguise all the electrical and structural elements but keep the feeling of a light organic fiber type net.
