I have always treated silk-screening as just one of the tools I use in my textile dyeing process. From the start I create all my prints from either photographs, collages, or found images. I mix all my dyes that relate to a specific collection color palette, mood or feeling I'm trying to represent. I use hand painting and other traditional dyeing techniques to layer and create my own painted surfaces.
